Russell Mehta, the 58-year-old CEO of Rosy Blue, is one of the world’s most prominent and successful diamantaires.

His father founded a company about 50 years ago, B Arunkumar, which has now been renamed Rosy Blue, and is still one of the world’s most trusted and successful diamond suppliers.

He also owns the ‘Orra’ retail brand for their jewellery.

They have approximately 30 stores across India, as well as 12 outlets in other countries across the world.

Family, Caste & Wife

In Bhavnagar, Gujarat, he was born into a Hindu-Gujarati family. His father, Arun Ramniklal Mehta, created a company called B Arunkumar after originally doing cotton farming.

His father, Roy Blue, is the company’s chairman, and Russell is the managing director.

Ragin Mehta, his brother, also assists his father and brother in their highly successful diamond company.
